-                                 GREEK A1 LEAGUE ROUND 18 RESULTS

-     THE DEFENDING GREEK A1 CHAMPS PANATHINAIKOS GO TO 17-1 ON THE YEAR

1. Panathinaikos 72 Nea Kifisia 59 FULL VIDEO - The Green squad grab the 13 point win, to go to 17-1 on the year, as they were led by Greek center Loukas Mavrokefalidis with 13 points in 22 minutes, on 5-7 FG, 3-4 FT, 5 rebounds and was followed by Serbian-Greek SF Vladimir Jankovic with 11 points and 5 rebounds, while Greek PG Nikos Pappas added 10 points, 6 rebounds in the win. Nea Kifisia drop to 10-8 on the Greek A1 year and were led by American SF Tony Crocker with 13 points, 7 rebounds, on 4-14 FG, 0-3(3PT), 5-7 FT and was followed by Greek PG Nikos Liakopoulos with 10 points, on 4-8 FG, 2-4(3PT).

-      OLYMPIACOS GO TO 16-2 KOSTAS SLOUKAS & MARDY COLLINS 12 PTS APIECE

2. Olympiacos 74 PAOK 72 - The defending Euroleague champions go to 16-2 on the Greek A1 year, as Olympiacos hope new SG Mardy Collins can get in rythm by the Greek A1 and Euroleague playoffs, to give them some of what previous American SG Acie Law did in the back to back Euroleague titles. Mardy Collins had his best game of the year with Olympiacos, scoring 12 points in 20 minutes, on 4-7 FG, 2-3(3PT), 2-2 FT, 4 rebounds and Greek PG Kostas Sloukas also had 12 points, on 2-2 FG, 1-1(3PT), 7-8 FT, while new SF Jamario Moon added 11 points, making 3-4 from 3 point land and had the game winning bucket, but Greek PG Vassilis Spanoulis was held to 2-9 on FG, for just 6 points in the close 2 point win for Olympiacos. New players Jamario Moon and Mardy Collins will help Olympiacos, but a 3-Peat in the Euroleague will be tough for Olympiacos, especially if Spanoulis keeps having up and down games, as the Euroleague and Greek A1 Olympiacos title hopes depend on if Spanoulis is his previous takeover self from the top of the key. PAOK drop to 11-7 and were led by Greek PG Kostas Haralampidis with 17 points, on 5-8 FG, 5-5 from long range, 2-4 FT and was followed by American PG D.J Cooper with 14 points, while Greek PF Mihalis Tsairelis added 13 points.

-   PANIONIOS DROP TO 13-5 ARIS GO 8-10 WITH 18 YR OLD A. VEZENKOV 13 PT 7 REB

3. Aris 68 Panionios 63 - Ioannis Athineou (16 PT) Marc Antonio Carter (16 PT)

-       KENNY GABRIEL GOES OFF FOR 33 PTS ON 13-16 FG 4-5(3PT) 3-4 FT

4. AGOR 92 Apollon Patras 72 - Kenny Gabriel (33 PT, 11 R) Demarius Bolds (21 PT)

-                  LAMAR ODOM IN EUROPE - 2004 VS GREECE - 2010 VS TURKEY

-    LAMAR ODOM JOINS LABORAL - LAST SP. ACB TITLE 2009-10 LABORAL 3-0 SWEEP

-     NICK GALIS 33 PPG CAREER - NOT IN NAISMITH HALL OF FAME IS A DISGRACE !!!!

-    AT 34 YEARS OF AGE LAMAR ODOM SIGNS  IN SPAIN HOPING TO GET BACK TO NBA

As reported first by David Pick in Europe, Former NBA forward Lamar Odom has signed a deal with Laboral Kutxa in Spain, as the 34 year old player hopes to play well in Spanish ACB league, as he wants another shot at the NBA next season. Odom played 14 seasons in the NBA and is most know for his championship run with the Lakers, where he played 7 seasons and won 2 NBA titles and won an NBA 6th man of the year award. His regular season career average is 13.3 PPG and 8.4 REB in 961 games and his playoff average is 13.0 PPG and 8.8 REB in 108 games, but Odom fell on hard times when he left the Lakers and played 50 games with Dallas scoring 6.6 PPG in 20.5 minutes per game and last year with the LA Clippers he only averaged 4.0 PPG in 19.7 minutes per game. Lamar Odom goes to a Laboral Kutxa squad that is jut 1-5 in Euroleague Top 16 play and that is just 9-10 in the deep Spanish ACB league and is tied for the last playoff spot in 8th place and is hoping Odom can bring them back to the ACB championship status that they earned in the 2009-10 season with the stunning 3-0 sweep over FC Barcelona in the ACB Finals, led by San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter and Brooklyn Nets PF Mirza Teletovic. The 2009-10 championship Laboral squad still have the game winning shot hero, Spanish SF Fernando San Emeterio on the team that Odom will join, and former NBA SF Andres Nocioni will also team with Lamar Odom, along with German center Tibor Pleiss, American PG Walter Hodge and French SG's Fabien Causeur and Thomas Huertel. If Odom plays well in Europe, NBA playoff teams might look his way next season.
