FC Barcelona outrebounded Real Madrid 44 to 34 in the game 5 win and were led by former University of Cincinnati small forward Pete Mickeal with 17 points, 9 rebounds, on 5-13 FG, 0-2(3PT), 7-8 FT and was followed by former Orlando Magic 1st round pick, big-man Fran Vazquez with 16 points, 8 rebounds, on 8-10 FG, while Erazem Lorbek added 10 points, 6 rebounds in the win. Real Madrid got most of their scoring from the perimeter players as they were led by former Utah State shooting guard Jaycee Carroll with 16 points, on 6-13 FG, 4-8 (3PT), 0-0 FT and was followed by former Duke University forward Kyle Singler and Spanish combo-guard Sergio Llull with 12 points apiece, while 2011 first round NBA pick of the Bulls, Nikola Mirotic added 10 points. Real Madrid got good rebounding games off the bench from Croatian Ante Tomic with 11 boards and Spanish forward Felipe Reyes with 10 boards, but Tomic only shot 1-7 on FG's and Reyes only hit on 2-9 on FG's in the loss.
